PAUL HICKMAN

Paul L. Hickman, A.B., B.S.E.E., M.A., J.D. founded TIPS Group in 2006. He specializes in intellectual property law with particular emphasis on patent and trademark law. He obtained his A.B. from Stanford University, his B.S.E.E. from San Jose State University, his M.A. from Cogswell Polytechnical College, and his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law. Mr. Hickman served as President of Silicon Valley Intellectual Property Law Association (SVIPLA) from 2002‑2003, was an Adjunct Professor of IP Law at Peninsula University School of Law from 1986‑1999, was an Instructor of IP Law at Santa Clara University Institute for Paralegal Studies from 1987‑1998 and became of faculty member of CPVA in 2011.
